Welcome to Art Chicago. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on Art Chicago mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Around 200 galleries attend the event, where they exhibit and sell the work of about 3000 artists, from famous names to the up-and-coming and unknowns. Sales for previous fairs have been known to hit US $60 million, so there's no doubt this show is ultimately about big bucks, but the diversity and flexibility of its scope makes it a fascinating insight into the contemporary art scene.
